| Mohsin : That We might try them thereby | Yusuf Ali : "Yet when the Devotee of Allah stands forth to invoke Him, they just make round him a dense crowd |

| And whosoever turneth aside from the remembrance of his Lord, him He shall thrust into a torment vehement | Mohsin : Till, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who it is that is weaker concerning helpers and less important concerning numbers Mufti Taqi Usmani : The disbelievers will continue denying the truth and mock at it until when they will see what they are promised, they will know whose supporters are weaker, and whose numbers are less |
Mufti Taqi Usmani : And that we thought that the humans and the Jinn would never tell a lie about Allah, therefore, we had followed them in shirk under this impression , Pickthal : And lo! Verse:008 Abdul Daryabadi : And we sought to reach the heaven; then we found it filled with a strong guard and darting meteors.
14| Mufti Taqi Usmani : And it is also revealed to me that if they the people of Makkah had stood firm on the right way, We would have supplied water to them in abundance, Pickthal : If they the idolaters tread the right path, We shall give them to drink of water in abundance Yusuf Ali : And Allah's Message is : "If they the pagans had only remained on the right Way, We should certainly have bestowed on them Rain in abundance | " Verse:022 Abdul Daryabadi : Say thou: verily none can protect me from Allah, nor can I find beside Him any refuge |
